Town Center Tree Replacement Project
Six trees located along University Boulevard and two along Auden Street have been scheduled for removal after falling into severe decline. The trees are located on the southwest corner of the West University Elementary School.
The city of West University’s Urban Forestry Division oversees the WUP Tree Trust, which includes all trees that are on public property within the city limits. These eight trees have fallen victim to several culprits: their age is estimated to be over 60 years, construction compaction over time and the current drought.
